Who We Are and What We Do

Community One Initiative is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities to engage diverse people and groups in educational and experiential programs that nurture respect and inclusion by utilizing lessons learned from the Holocaust.

Our goal is to work with Indian River County, and community partner organizations, to bring impactful Holocaust education to everyone in our area. We ensure Florida state education mandates are fulfilled and lessons are implemented in the classroom using best practices and in relevant and meaningful ways. Whether it be through classroom resources, professional development, book purchases or programming, supporting the needs of our schools and community is our purpose.
